Meet the Doctor
Dr Michael Chang attended elementary school in Elmhurst, NY, graduated cum laude from Edgemont HS in Scarsdale, NY in 1983, earned his BA with dean's list honors at Columbia College of Arts and Sciences in ‘87, and attained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 91. He completed his General Dental Practice Residency at the FDR VA Hospital in Montrose, NY, was certified by the NE Board of Dental Examiners, and earned his dental license in 1992. From '92-'98 Dr Chang provided ambulatory dental care in the OR utilizing general anesthesia at the Rancho Los Amigos Hospital-Downey, CA, worked with Dr Anthony Mobasser, a cosmetic dentist in Beverly Hills, CA, and Dr. Ki Wha Chang, his father and NYC dentist of over 50 years, served as a clinical faculty instructor at Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery, attended at North General Hospital in NYC, and practiced family dentistry in Stamford, CT.
On Feb 1st 1999 Dr. Chang opened his private solo dental office in Manhattan. He has been practicing cosmetic and general dentistry for 33 years, resides in NY, and is a member in good standing with The 1st District Dental Society of New York, The Connecticut State Dental Association, The National Society of Dental Practitioners and The American Dental Association.
Dr. Chang is a certified Invisalign and Zoom provider and is fluent in Spanish and Korean.
